Culinary Arts

The Hive hosts culinary artists-in-residence such as Jeffrey Yoskowitz & Liz Alpern, authors of The Gefilte Manifesto: New Recipes for Old World Jewish Foods and founders of “The Gefilteria” to demonstrate not only how Ashkenazi Jewish food is reimagined but the explore the history and roots of where these food traditions began.

Jewish Gatherings

From Shabbats to Seders, we host programs throughout the year to offer space for celebration and gathering for everyone in our community to enjoy.

The Hive also manages a Creative Studio Annex [aka “Barn 8”] with studio space for local artists to rent.  With panoramic views of the Pacific Ocean, the rustic surrounds provide for ample inspiration.
